DOUBLE VIOLIN is a solo created for principal dancer Vito Mazzeo, who performed it in Italy twice (at ApuliaArte Dance Award and Giuliana Penzi Award).

It was also showcased as part of the program New Moves 2019 at Nationale Opera en Ballet in Amsterdam, danced by Michele Esposito (Coryphée at DNB).

"Sometimes, while on the path of life, we come to certain crossroads where we are compelled to choose one way or another.

If things go wrong, it's easy to look back and think that we should have just picked the other route when at the crossroads.

Truth is that there aren't really "right" or "wrong" choices: there are only the choices "we made" and that's where it stops.

We can never go back in time and see how our life would have been if only we had turned the other way.

The one thing we can do is to make the most out of the path we have taken and to fight for ourselves".
